Notes:
• Whilst raw emissions were tested, they were beyond the 6 Million P /cc limit of NPET device.
• Diesel engines are typically putting out in the region of 100 Million P/cc (regardless of Tier level). (Tartakovsky et al. 2015)
• Based on this, the Freudenberg CRT-DPF showed a 99.99% reduction.
P/N in ambient air (Pinjarra WA): 8000 P/cc
Gas coming out of tailpipe was actually cleaner than local ambient rural air.

Mine 1

No real Diesel Emissions Management plan, very few DPF’s (no Freudenberg DPF’s)
Minesite Average: 337 Thousand P/cc

Mine 2

Mature Diesel Emissions Management plan but;
some vehicles still not fitted with effective DPF’s (no Freudenberg DPF’s)
Minesite Average: 60 Thousand P/cc

(In both cases, the mine ventilation air has more diesel particles in it than the actual exhaust coming directly out of vehicles fitted with Freudenberg DPF’s)
